On January 22, the NSW Heritage Network group was advised of the closure of the Heritage NSW heritage lists.
We’d like to inform you that the heritage consultants directory and heritage products and services directory (including tradespeople) on the Heritage NSW website have been retired and are no longer publicly accessible. If you’re working with property owners and managers, please avoid referring them to these directories moving forward.
Why the change?
We’ve made this decision after careful consideration as much of the information in these directories had become outdated. Today, there are many effective ways for property owners to find heritage consultants and tradespeople, such as website searches, social media platforms, professional associations, recommendations through word of mouth
The Australian Heritage Services Directory (heritagelist.online) was created and implemented after this announcement, to ensure all heritage professionals have access to an equitable advertising platform. It was created independently by Kylie Christian under the registered business name of Australian Heritage Services Directory.

The purpose of this directory is to assist the owners and managers of heritage places and objects to search for appropriate heritage consultants, trades and contractors across a range of disciplines. The Directory is designed to be a resource for heritage site owners and managers to find appropriately qualified practitioners that understand heritage projects.
