About the Heritage Directory
Supporting Heritage in Australia
Thank you for your interest in the Australian Heritage Services Directory on HeritageList.Online.
The businesses and people listed in this directory are known to have experience in various aspects of heritage conservation, documentation or assessment. The inclusion of the business or person should not be taken as an endorsement of their skills, qualifications or services. Any representation, statement, opinion or advice provided, expressed or implied in this publication is made in good faith on the basis that any creator of the website is not liable (whether by reason of negligence, lack of care or otherwise) to any person for any damage or loss whatsoever which has or may occur in relation to that person or business taking or not taking action in respect of any representations, statement or advice referred to above.
What happens to the money provided as payment for the listings?
Firstly, it will cover the costs of running and development of the website – the cost for the software, the hosting, the maintenance and the security.
Secondly, any addition funds raised will be used to support the heritage industry, in the form or sponsorships, funding conference attendees, anything really! We haven’t managed to get to this point as yet, but we are hopeful. Each year, we will be putting up the information on how many things we have managed to support so you know where the money will go.
