Detailed Services Description

We are Sydney-based heritage conservation cleaning experts who specialise in heritage façade and surface cleaning, paint stripping, graffiti removal and masonry desalination with proprietary techniques and technologies that are proven and specified by leading heritage architects.

Our restoration cleaning technologies include:

BLUEVAC CAPTIVE HEAD WASHING SYSTEM
A cleaning and masonry desalination technology that washes, rinses and vacuums in a single action, capturing dirty wash water as it cleans. Low pressure water (tap-level strength and up to 1200psi) and vacuum suction work to gently lift dirt and residues from heritage surfaces without any damage to the original fabric. Pore-deep extraction of soluble salts helps to treat salt damp in historic masonry, reducing salt concentrations and slowing decay from salt attack. It’s why the BlueVac is a mainstay at the Longford Academy, featured in their annual Practical Building Conservation workshop at World Heritage-listed Woolmers Estate. With BlueVac, you can wash interior or exterior surfaces without the worry of water runoff or water damage.

JOS SYSTEM
A micro cleaning technology that generates a low-pressure flow of air, water and fine, inert granulate to softly and effectively clean surfaces without damage to the substrate. Designed to remove graffiti, dirt, stains, coatings and more, the JOS can operate at a low pressure of between 25 to 40 psi (lower than your typical garden tap), making it ideal for delicate heritage works and surfaces.

HERITAGE NO.1 NATURAL PAINT REMOVAL POULTICE
A natural and non-toxic paint removal poultice for stripping lead, oil-based and enamel paints from masonry, metal and timber. Water soluble and solvent-free, with no nasty fumes or methylene chloride. Heritage No.1 is featured at the Longford Academy’s Practical Building Conservation workshop at World Heritage-listed Woolmers Estate.

GREYGEL PROFESSIONAL GRADE PAINT REMOVER
A professional grade paint remover that clings to vertical and overhead surfaces and removes multiple layers of traditional and modern paints from masonry, timber, glass and metal. Methylene chloride-free.

Proudly serving the Australian heritage restoration and remedial building industries for over 30 years, Let’s Clean Technologies takes pride in our role of helping to preserve Australia’s cultural heritage. We have had the privilege of working on a number of heritage assets across New South Wales and other parts of Australia, including: St Mary’s Cathedral, Central Station, Town Hall House, Fort Denison, Australian Museum, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney GPO, Cape Byron Lighthouse, Old Canberra Brickworks, Old Parliament House, National Art School, Gladesville Hospital and Duntroon House.

At every stage of a project we utilise our knowledge, skill and experience to ensure that the integrity of the heritage asset is preserved. This involves an understanding that each asset is unique and requires an individual, tailored approach; an assessment of the asset to identify the right technique and technology for the project; and investigation through testing and reporting.

Contact us to discuss your project or technology needs - we look forward to working with you!
